About Us
Our Todmorden office has been established for over 25 years, during which time it has developed into the town's premier Legal Practice.
In 1999 we acquired the entire former Lloyds Bank Building and relocated the firm to the old banking hall on the ground floor. This enables us to have a better street presence, provide disabled access, and have more scope for growth and a better working environment for our staff.

Godfrey Pickles
Godfrey Pickles has been partner in charge at Todmorden since 1980 and has seen the office grow from a small local concern to a practice with two assistant solicitors and five support staff.
Godfrey, Todmorden born and bred, is partner in charge at Todmorden office. He qualified in 1975 and has dealt with a wide variety of disciplines in the Law. He is a general practitioner, able to deal with a broad range of matters, both of a domestic and commercial nature, which includes major commercial developments.
He is also very experienced in advising on Wills, Probate matters, Tax Planning and Landlord and Tenant matters, both commercial and residential.
Amongst his clients are high net worth private clients, and a major Building Society. He has acted on many company acquisitions and disposals, including supermarkets and other retail/manufacturing businesses.
Property Team
Stan Morville is our Property Services Manager with over 35 years experience of valuation.
Annice manages our property sales department. She deals with all aspects of sales negotiation, advertising and the general day to day management department.
Annice lives locally and has extensive knowledge of the area and facilities available.
